Lark Books has created another winner in their Pretty Little Series of craft books with this latest offering Pretty Little Mini Quilts by Ray Hemachandra. The finished quilts measure no more than 36 inches (91.4 cm) making them perfect for experimentation.
The 31 projects cover many styles and techniques. Some of the designers you’ll recognize. Shelece Jorgensen’s primitive creations have been delighting me for a long time – you’ll want to check out her project Days of Summer, page 40.
Other immediate favorites include Portrait of Velma by Susan Lewis Storey and the book’s cover quilt The Elusive Batiki Bird by Sarah Ann Smith, page 118.
Some of the designers are also bloggers. List below:
- Roxanne Beauvais Craft Addictions
