When asked to review the book, Small Pieces, Spectacular Quilts by Mary Elizabeth Kinch, Be*mused decided the best thing to do was to try a technique from said book. She said she went for the one that scared her the most, piecing tiny diamonds. She found success! She used some dormant knitting skills to tame the block before adding the half-square triangle borders you see here. No skill you learn from one craft is ever wasted, right?
One last thing. Just this week, if you leave a comment on her review post, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a copy of the book.
Go to her blog post to see all her great photos and get more of her thoughts on the book.
