This is a brilliant example of a New York Beauty (NYB) quilt block, made by Cindy, of Fluffy Sheep Quilting. She mixed whimsical fabric motifs with pink and green solids. It works!
Quilters refer to this simple block as Block 0. This makes it a perfect choice for a beginning quilter (just stay with the easiest pattern) or an intermediate to experienced quilter looking to build new skills. Notice this block at Lindsay Sews and all the NYB blocks featured here at Quilters Corner Club, are more complicated variations with many more paper piecing steps.
