Good Morning Scarlett! It seems like forever since I have seen one of your posts or I have just been a dope and missed them somehow. But, I am glad that I caught sight of this post. With making quilts for Project Linus, we (all of us at the guild) talk and discuss quite frequently the various types of backings to use and how some of them are so difficult. I am going to try and print out this information or at least write down the information and share it. So thank you, once again, for searching and finding such wonderful information and helpful tutorials on quilting. I hope that you have a fantastic creative day!

I am wondering if Minky is good to use for children’s anything if it melts. There are fabrics that melt and in a fire will melt on their bodies making the burn worse. Has anyone researched this aspect of Minky? I know it’s pretty, cute and soft. However, we need to make sure it’s safe.
