Editor’s update 11/11/2010: Readers, you’ve done it! You are over 100 comments for this giveaway so there will be two lucky winners of this book. Since there are two places to enter (original post and this one) I am combining the comments from both. Comments made on a blog also go to the blogger’s email inbox where I’ve created a special folder for this giveaway. The emails are sorted by time received. All this to say, the comment number you see on the post may be different from the drawing. The order will be as if everyone posted on the original post.

There has been understandable excitement over my latest giveaway because Simplify: Quilts for the Modern Home by Camille Roskelley is a wonderful book for all skill levels. But it especially takes the intimidation factor out of learning to quilt. I have received 78 comments so far and the greatest number are wanting to learn how to quilt. As someone who loves to teach newbies the quilting ropes, here’s what I’m going to do. If I get 100 comments by close of contest November 12 , 11:59 PM US CST, I will draw two names and give away two copies of the book.

To enter leave a comment below or on the original post CG Giveaway: Simplify quilt book. When you leave a comment do share where you are on your quilting journey. Good luck.

I would love to win this book. I have signed up for a beginner quilting class but it keeps getting rescheduled (three times now, not enough people are signing up, is what they tell me). ALL I want to do is make a quilt and I think this book would be soo helpful!

I’m interested in quilting, have finished a quilt top but that’s it. Have been reading lots of books to learn how to assemble a quilt sandwich, so any book that can get me to finish the quilt would be great.

I made one quilt- many years ago in 4H sewing! Now I want to make another. I love the Amy Butler tumble roses fabric, and all other colorful, girly fabrics so maybe I’ll have to make my second one this Christmas Vacation!
