DIY: May Day Basket quilt

What got my attention is her applique technique (Part 2). As you can see in the photo, it looks like needle turn, but she stitches her applique pieces on with her sewing machine. Along with her tutorials, she includes a pattern for her May Day Basket quilt. Cute dog not included.
