Nadra Ridgeway of Ellis and Higgs shares on her blog how to make these pretty patio chair cushions. She was one of several talented sewers who participated in the Summer Blog Party 2015. I know it’s 2016, but this bears repeating, especially if you want to learn to quilt. If you have a little sewing experience, this project is the perfect segue to patchwork.
Take a look at one of the finished cushion tops, and count from the top left corner. One-two-three makes Row One, four-five-six makes Row Two and seven-eight-nine makes Row Three. The fabric ground is essentially a nine-patch block.
