Amy of Diary of a Quilter said after experiencing her first winter weather, decided to do something for Hurricane Sandy victims who lost their homes. She made up four quilts in one week, selecting warm flannel fabrics from her stash for two and finishing two small flannel tops. If you quilt, you understand quilts can take a long time to complete (weeks/months). Visit her post to see how she got them sewn up so fast, plus see all her lovely photos.
An aside, she has some excellent tutorials, one that takes you through the entire process of making a quilt, called Beginning Quilting Series.
